A representative group from the Social Farming Ireland Network appeared on TV3’s Ireland AM Programme on Tuesday the 1st August.
Brian Smyth Project Manager, one of our farmers Michael Heslin from Leitrim and John Murphy a participant from Richard and Jackie Moerans farm in Cavan told the story of Social Farming and how it is developing. John spoke of how it changed his life and he now has a job that enjoys and much more fulfilled life.
Social Farms are becoming active right across Ireland with many participants from Health and Social Care services benefiting from farming activity.
