Social Farming Ireland: Farmer Wellbeing Events!
Social Farming Ireland is excited to invite you to a series of wellbeing events tailored specifically for farmers and their families, hosted by Leitrim Development Company and our partners, with support from the Department of Agriculture, Food and Marine. These events will take place in October and November across five regional social farms and venues in Ireland, offering a much-needed focus on mental health, stress management, and overall wellbeing for our farming communities.
The wellbeing events are free to attend but require registration. They will take place from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the following locations:
- Wednesday, October 23rd: Kill, Co. Kildare
- Thursday, October 24th: Ballymoe, Co. Roscommon
- Tuesday, October 29th: Callan, Co. Kilkenny
- Tuesday, November 5th: Kilmeedy, Co. Limerick
- Monday, November 11th: Ross, Co. Meath

Social Farming Ireland Awareness Week 2024!
Social Farming Ireland is excited to announce this year’s Social Farming Awareness Week, to promote social farming as a viable option for both those in need of this support and for farmers.
This week will take place from the 7th of October to the 11th of October 2024 with one of our farms hosting an open morning each day of the week.
A variety of different farm settings open their gates over the 5 days in Clare, Cork, Roscommon, Kildare, & Cavan.
