SoFI holds a new kind of launch for its latest report
SoFI launches and events usually take place on farms and in wellies but on 14th September we had a virtual launch for our report ‘Social Farming and Healthy Ireland’ which brought nearly 60 people together from all over the country. The event was run from SoFI HQ in Drumshanbo, Co. Leitrim but we also connected with Minister Frank Feighan who was visiting Bradleys social farm in Newtowngore, Co. Leitrim and with West Limerick Resources in Newcastle West, Co. Limerick. We also got to hear farmers, participants and policy makers both live and through video and the enthusiasm and appreciation for what social farming has to offer remains undimmed and if anything heightened in the current context.
